Shrimp and Pancakes
Checked in for brunch, and ordered off the breakfast menu.

Their signature sweet potato pancakes are sizeable and fluffy, mouth-wateringly layered with cinnamon butter and tastefully garnished with candied pecans. The Lowcountry Benedict also struck a chord - the fried oysters were crunchy while the gravy and vegetable accoutrements were richly flavourful!

Drinks: their iced coffee, caramel espresso and jet fuel, were awesome!

Verdict: Scrumptious understated Southern cuisine!

Shrimp and Grit Benedict
Our first meal in Charleston! All three of us ordered the shrimp & grits, the crab cake, and I had a sangria.

The shrimp & grits was bursting with flavor and was a little on the saltier side. The crab cake was moist and scrumptious with a salad on the side, and we finished it so quickly. The sangria was small but sweet and delicious.

Our server was also so charming! We were surprised how elegant the interior was when we came in and our brunch felt so classy. The ambience is perfect for a date or a nice Sunday brunch.
